Paul Morris born in Santa Monica California, began
studying Piano at the age of 12 in New York. At the age of 18 he studied under
Jazz greats Lennie Tristano, Hal Galper and Sal Masca. He then proceeded to
perform with Back to Back in Long Beach, NY, Full House, Vixon (not the girl
band) and Todd Wolfs (guitarist for Cheryl Crow) Troy and the Tornados.
then went on tour with Doro Pesch of Warlock in Germany. After working with
Gene Simmons on Doros CD Rare Diamonds, he continued touring with Doro in a
second European and US tour. Paul then toured with heavy Metal Violinist Mark
Wood, best know from Trans Siberian Orchestra, in a US Canadian tour.
next project was with the re-launching of Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow. They
spent a year recording the album and went on to tour, world wide, twice. Paul
then went on to do a Teen Idol Tour with Davy Jones, Bobby Sherman and Peter
Noon, which was followed by a tour with Nena of 99 Luft Balloons, featuring
Tony Bruno and Tommy Price. Paul continued to play locally while doing studio
sessions. He then received a call from his long time friend Al Pitrelli , to
come down and play for Paul O'Neil, the creator of TSO ,which resulted in
Paul's touring with the West Coast TSO ground breaking tour for two years.
Paul then received a call from Joe Lynn Turner to replace Tony Carey for the
Sweden Rock Festival. Paul proceeded to stay on and tour with Over the Rainbow
for two years in Russia, Europe and one US tour. During that time, Paul and
Jurgen Blackmore (Ritchie Blackmores son) proceeded to write a new CD called
J.R. Blackmores Voices, which is #12 on the charts as of 12-29-2011.
There are plans of a future tour. During the time of the release of this
album, Paul has worked with Tommy Farese and Maxx Mann , also of TSO, on the
writing of the Christmas CD The Kings of Christmas. The preview tour which
Maxx Mann and Paul put forth received rave reviews. I now find my self in a
new project based out of Germany called, EZ-LIVIN. The band leader is the
well known guitarist, Hans Ziller from the German 80”s / 90’s metal band,
